Tender ready company pack

Registering a company is the easy part. What stops a new company bidding is the chain behind it: ownership filed, SARS access, a tax PIN, the supplier database, the affidavit. Each depends on the one before, and a new owner usually discovers the order by failing it. This pack does all six in the right sequence, in one order.

R2 790our fee for all six · saves R610 · CIPC’s R175 included, nothing else to pay any authority

Independent paperwork service. ProperSA is an independent private company. We are not CIPC, SARS or National Treasury, and we have no influence over who wins a tender. Every one of these can be done directly with the authority yourself, and five of the six carry no government fee. Our fee pays for the preparation, the submission and the follow-up.

Frequently asked questions

Why does a brand new company need all six of these before it can tender?

Because a tender checks them in sequence and each one depends on the last. The company has to exist at CIPC. Its beneficial ownership has to be filed or CIPC blocks later filings. A registered representative has to be verified on eFiling before SARS will issue anything. Only then can a tax compliance PIN be issued, and the Central Supplier Database verifies that PIN live. The B-BBEE affidavit is the last thing a bid asks for. Miss any one and the bid is disqualified before your price is read.

What does the pack cost in total, including government fees?

Our fee is R2 790 for all six. CIPC’s R175 for the company registration is already inside that. Beneficial ownership, the SARS representative, the tax compliance PIN and CSD registration carry no government fee at all, and commissioning the affidavit is free at any police station. So R2 790 is the whole cost.

How long does it take?

The company registration is usually a few working days. The SARS representative verification is 3 to 7 business days and has to complete before the tax PIN, which is then 1 to 5 business days. CSD verification depends on how quickly the checks against CIPC, SARS and your bank clear. Realistically, allow three to four weeks from ordering to holding everything, and start it before you have a closing date to chase.

Do I need a B-BBEE certificate or is the affidavit enough?

If your yearly turnover is R10 million or less you are an exempted micro enterprise and a sworn affidavit is your B-BBEE certificate. A new company is almost always in that band. You do not need to buy a certificate from a verification agency. Above R10 million you need a verified certificate from a SANAS accredited agency, which we do not issue.

Is COIDA included?

No, deliberately. COIDA registration is R1 290 on its own and is only required once you employ someone, at which point most tenders will also ask for the letter of good standing. A company with no staff yet does not need it, so we do not bury it in the price. Add it the day you hire.

What if I already have the company?

Then do not buy this pack. Tell us what you already have and we price only what is missing. On their own, beneficial ownership is R490, the SARS representative R690, a tax clearance PIN R450, CSD registration R490 and the B-BBEE affidavit and tender pack R490.

Already have the company and building for government?
