Disclaimer & use of information

The clear version: our tools and documents help you get organised. They do not replace advice for your specific situation.

Read this before relying on the site

ProperSA provides general information, templates, calculators and administrative support. We write in plain English, but every business and personal situation has facts that a website cannot see. Use this site as a helpful starting point, not as the final answer for an important decision.

Calculators and guides

Calculator results are estimates only. Rates, thresholds, rules and government processes can change, and your own circumstances may affect the answer. Check important tax, grant, UIF, retirement or registration decisions with the relevant government body or a qualified professional before acting.

Guides explain common processes in everyday language. They are not legal, tax, financial, labour, immigration or accounting advice, and they do not promise a particular result.

Templates, packs and services

Our packs contain templates and practical administrative guidance based on the information you provide. You are responsible for checking that the information you give us is complete and correct, and for reviewing a document before you use or sign it.

Where you ask us to prepare or submit an application, registration or filing, we act only within the written scope you approve. Government departments and third parties make their own decisions and control their own processing times. We cannot guarantee approval, acceptance or an outcome.

When to get specialist help

Please speak to a qualified professional when a matter involves a dispute, dismissal, CCMA process, court action, immigration status, a complex tax position, a significant financial decision, or any deadline that could materially affect you or your business. We may also tell you when a matter is outside our administrative service scope.

Your responsibility

You remain responsible for your decisions, legal and regulatory duties, the people you employ, and information you submit to a government body or other third party. Do not use a template as a substitute for checking the facts and requirements that apply to you.

This page is read together with our Terms, payment & refunds, Privacy policy and, where we act for you, Client authority & consent.
