Website terms

The rules of using this site and ordering from us, without the twelve page preamble.

The short version

The free tools

The calculators on this site are provided free, for general information. They use official rates and formulas which we check against the sources cited in our code, but legislation changes and every situation has detail a calculator cannot see. Results are estimates only. Decisions about tax, retirement, withdrawals, benefits or grants should be confirmed with the relevant authority (SARS, SASSA, the UIF, CIPC or the Compensation Fund) or a licensed professional. We accept no liability for decisions taken on the strength of a calculator result.

Packs and services

Compliance packs are template documents and guidance customised to the written answers you give in our questionnaire. Services are administrative: we prepare forms and may submit registrations and filings to government bodies on your instruction where we are authorised and permitted to do so. We are not a law firm, not registered auditors and not a licensed financial services provider, and nothing we deliver constitutes legal, audit or financial advice. Where your situation needs an attorney or licensed advisor, we will say so.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us; filings are prepared from your answers. Government processing times are outside our control, and we quote typical times in good faith without guaranteeing them.

Authority to act for you

For a filing or application, we may ask you to accept a service-specific authority online and/or sign the mandate required by the relevant authority. That permission is limited to the written service scope. It does not give us broad control over your business or personal affairs. You remain responsible for your tax, legal and regulatory obligations and for information you approve for submission. Read our Client Authority & Consent page for the plain-English version.

HR, CCMA and foreign-worker information

HR packs, CCMA checklists and foreign-worker onboarding material help you organise information and prepare documents. They do not decide whether a dismissal is fair, whether a person has a right to work in South Africa, whether a visa is valid, or what outcome the CCMA, a court or a government department will reach. You remain responsible for your employment decisions, verifying original documents with the relevant authority where needed, and getting advice from a qualified labour-law or immigration professional for a dispute, dismissal, visa or other high-risk situation.

We do not perform identity, criminal-record or visa verification through this website. If you give us information about a prospective or current worker, you confirm that you have the authority to provide it and that you will use any documents we prepare lawfully.

Prices and payment

Prices shown are fixed and in South African rand. Where a government fee applies, the page says whether it is included or added at cost; there are no other charges. Payment is online through PayFast (credit or debit card, instant EFT and other methods PayFast supports) or by EFT against our invoice, on delivery of the pack or completion of the service. Card payments are processed by PayFast; while our own merchant account is being registered, your card or bank statement may show our payment account name, Digital Doctor. If a government body rejects a filing for a reason within our control, we fix and resubmit at no charge; if the reason is outside our control (for example information you provided), we tell you what is needed and resubmit once corrected.

Our money-back guarantee

If we do not deliver the pack or administrative service described on its page, tell us within 14 days and we will either put it right or refund the price paid for that item. This guarantee applies to our work. It does not promise an approval, decision, processing time, government fee or third-party outcome that we do not control. Consumer rights under the Consumer Protection Act and ECTA are not limited by these terms.

Intellectual property

You may use delivered documents freely inside your own business, including editing them. You may not resell our templates or documents as products, and the site's content and calculators remain ours.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim connected to the site, a pack or a service is limited to the price you paid us for the item concerned. This does not exclude rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including rights under consumer-protection law. You accept these terms when you place an online order; we retain the version and time of that acceptance with the order.

General

These terms are governed by South African law. If any part is unenforceable, the rest stands. These terms were last updated on 22 August 2026; the version on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.
